Linux Mint 22.2 will feature a new app “Fingwit“
If your computer has fingerprint reader then you will be able to record your fingerprint using Fingwit.
Fingerprint provides smarter authentication with PAM module and can be used in following
- The login screen
- The screensaver
- sudo commands
- Admin apps (pkexec)
Fingwit dynamically switch between fingerprint & password authentication depending on situations. However, It can identify the problematic situation also.
